The School of SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRIES aims at providing high-quality education and training and knowledge in music and worship ministries to equip individuals to unleash their musical talents and potentials in the church and world.

PROGRAMS

There are 7 categories of programs offered by the School of Music and Worship Ministries.
CATEGORY A: Basic Certificate in Music with specializations in:

(a) Church Music & Contemporary Worship Ministries
(b) Choir Directing & Ensemble Conducting
(c) Artiste Management
(d) Music Marketing & Business
(e) Music Technology & Digital Music Production
(f) Sound Engineering

Category B: Music Education
Category C: Music Psychology & Therapy
Category D: Music Theory & Composition
CATEGORY E: Basic Certificate in Jazz Music with specializations in Piano, Guitars (Bass & Lead/Acoustic), Saxophone and Drums and Voice and Trumpet
CATEGORY F: Basic Certificate in Classical Music with specializations in Piano, Guitars (Bass & Lead/Acoustic), Woodwinds (Flutes, Clarinets, Oboes, Bassoons, etc.), Drums & Other Percussions, Voice, Brass Instruments.
CATEGORY G: Basic Certificate in Contemporary Christian Music with specializations in Piano/Keyboards, Guitars (Bass & Lead/Acoustic), Drums, Voice

There are 7 categories of programs offered by the School of Music and Worship Ministries currently ARE ALL OFFERED AT THREE LEVELS:

LEVEL A: CERTIFICATES
1. Basic Certificate –This is designed for passionate students who have NO BACKGROUND IN MUSIC AT ALL.
Duration: 6months
2. Intermediate Certificate-The entry requirement for this program is to have SHS or a basic certificate in Music from our Institute or any other recognized music school, in addition to passing our entrance examination, the KiPRahD Institute Musical Aptitude Test (KIMAT).
Duration: 6months
3. Advanced Certificate-This is designed for passionate individuals who have an Intermediate Certificate from our Institute or from any other recognized Music School.
Duration: 6months
LEVEL B: DIPLOMAS
1. Basic Diploma-The The entry requirement into this Basic Diploma Program is to have SHS/1st Degree from a recognized university in addition to an advanced Certificate from a recognized music school plus passing an entrance examination and/or selection interview.
Duration: 8months
2. Intermediate Diploma- In order to be admitted into this intermediate Diploma program, an applicant should possess a basic Diploma Certificate from our Institute or any other recognized music school, together with SHS/1st Degree from a recognized university, in addition to passing an entrance examination and/or selection interview.
Duration: 8months
3. Advanced Diploma- In order to be admitted into this Advanced Diploma program, an applicant should possess an Intermediate Diploma Certificate from our Institute or any other recognized music school, together with SHS/1st Degree from a recognized university, in addition to passing an entrance examination and/or selection interview.
Duration: 8months

LEVEL C: PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMAS
The professional Diploma programs (unlike the normal Certificates and Diplomas) are designed for individuals who want to do music full time and who want to attain a high level of professional Mastery.
1. Basic Professional Diploma- In order to be admitted into this Basic Professional Diploma program, an applicant should possess an Advanced Diploma Certificate from our Institute or any other recognized music school, together with SHS/1st Degree from a recognized university, in addition to passing an entrance examination and/or selection interview, plus at least 3 years of industry-related experience in their areas of specialization plus a basic ability to play and handle at least on a music instrument.
Duration: 12months
2. Intermediate Professional Diploma- The requirement for admission into this Intermediate Professional Diploma program is for the applicant to possess a Basic Professional Diploma Certificate from our Institute or any other recognized music school, together with SHS/1st Degree from a recognized university, in addition to passing an entrance examination and/or selection interview, plus at least 5 years of industry-related experience in their areas of specialization plus a basic ability to play and handle at least on a music instrument.
Duration: 12 months
3. Advanced Professional Diploma- In order to be admitted into this Advanced Professional Diploma program, an applicant should possess an Intermediate Professional Diploma from our Institute or any other recognized music school, together with SHS/1st Degree from a recognized university, in addition to passing an entrance examination and/or selection interview, plus at least 5 years of industry-related experience in their areas of specialization plus a basic ability to play and handle at least on music instrument.
